Lambeth council are inviting you to nominate someone from the council who’s made a difference to you – whether through a one off encounter or over a period of time.
It could be a local librarian, parking attendant, street cleaner or youth worker. It might be a team of people who’ve helped you sort out a complicated or difficult problem. Maybe you’re part of a community or residents’ group that’s worked with Lambeth council staff on a project in your local area.
Whatever the reason, whoever it is, Lambeth council wants to hear from you before August 23.
Deputy leader of the council, Cllr Jackie Meldrum said: “This is a chance for people in Lambeth to thank the unsung heroes of the council. There’s no doubt there’s increased pressure on services and that’s testing for everyone. Lambeth council is full of people who go that extra mile, day in day out and who really make a difference to people, so this is the perfect opportunity to say thank you.”

Closing date is August 23 and the judging panel includes Lambeth council’s chief executive, Derrick Anderson and Thornton Ward councillor and Leader of the Council, Cllr. Lib Peck.
