The press has been full of stories about the benefit cuts quoting extreme examples of the type of household that will be affected. The Council is doing its best to make sure that everyone knows the real facts. Officers have been contacting all the people who they think will be affected. They are also going round the borough telling people about the changes directly. So if you think you might be affected or just want to be well informed about what is happening then come along to the Bonneville Centre on Poynders Road, between Honeybrook Road and Rudloe Road on Thursday 7th March at 7 p.m. when Clapham Park Neighbourhood Forum will be hosting a session with one of the council’s experts on welfare changes.
Key Speakers are:
7:00pm – Cllr Diana Morris – Introduction
7:15pm – Dan Norris, Welfare Rights Co-ordinator, Lambeth Council
